throw throw throw throw yourself out onto the sea onto your belly and feel the ice feel yourself splitting and diluting across green panes until what was once the reflection of your face is now just an eye or a nose miles away from each other because the loud ones know you cannot be hurt if you cannot be found and glued together and water is not adhesive once you know how to swim in it.

vanish varnish vanish varnish your mind brightly, like a lampshade without a bulb that glows, the light-crowded nothing that means you never know where or who you are and define yourself only by the next and the next because the silent ones know that the empowerment of running is not in reaching a destination but in leaving one behind.
